Project completed for my sewing room...

As you know I am working on my sewing/quilting/crafting room.  I completed one of the projects I had planned for it.  Only the start of many more.  I found this on Sew4home.com.  You can find this particular project here.  I used fabric that compliments the color scheme I am using for my sewing room.  It was a very easy project to do with easy to find supplies.  The only problem I ran into was the Insulfoam.  They sold it at Lowe's online in sheets of 2'x4' for only 3.00.  However they didn't have this stocked in the store.  The only comparable item was a 4'x8' sheet for 10.00.  I went ahead and purchased the larger sheet.  I am making another project board for my granddaughter's room and then I am using the remainder of the board to make a portable design board.  So it all came out best.  If you wish, you can purchase the smaller sheet online and they will ship it free to the store for pick up.

I love how it came out!  It will make a great addition to my room won't it?

I have also gotten my shelves organized.  I am using photo storage boxes which I purchased for only $1.50 each at Micheal's.  I am planning to make some more by using decoupage.  That will be a whole new experience for me.  I have never attempted that before but I have been told it is a fairly simple thing to do.

I found the white buckets at the local goodwill for only .50 each.  I have 6 of them.  They are great for storing buttons, cutting tools and pretty much anything you can think of!

I found this at Hobby Lobby!  I had been looking and looking for one of these!  I had a 50% off coupon and used it happily.  After the discount I got it for only 10.00!  It was the last one.

So it is coming along great!  I have many more projects in the works.  Lots and lots of painting to do too.  It will all be worth it.  The more that I get done the more excited I get to have it finished.  Keep watching.  I will try and put together a tutorial for you as I come along.  I am relatively new at all of this, but learning fast.

Have a great day!
